Paul Hines has coached
Basketball, Baseball, Football and Wrestling over the years.
The success achieved could not have been done without the support
of many other coaches (assistant and head), players, parents,
fans and others.
These are the highlights of his accomplishments by the decade:
1960's
Three District titles - Basketball - Ralph Bunche High School
Two Regional Titles - Basketball -Ralph Bunche High School
Two District Titles - Baseball - Ralph Bunche High School
He coached Al Bumbry who eventually became a baseball player
and then a manager for the Baltimore Orioles.
As Head Football Coach at Pomonkey High School, he had a 16-12
record in three years.
As Offensive Line Coach at Lackey High School, he had a 9-1 record
and ranked 10th in the Metropolitan area.
1970's
Offensive Line Coach in Football at T.C. Williams High School
with Head Coach Herman Boone that won the 1971 State Football
Championship.
Assistant Coach in Basketball at T.C. Williams High School with
Head Coach Mike Hynson that had a 28-0 record and won the Regional
Championship.
1980's
Head Football Coach at T.C. Williams High School was ranked 15-15
in three years.
Offensive Line Coach in Football at T.C. Williams High School
won the state championship 14-0 record.
Assistant Coach in Basketball at T.C. Williams High School with
Head Coach Jimmy Worden. State Quarter Finals in 1995.
1996
Retired From Coaching
